Magnolia ISD has named Calynn Perkins as the Assistant Principal at Bear Branch Intermediate. Perkins has been at Magnolia High School for six years and most currently the marketing teacher and DECA advisor.
While at Magnolia High, Perkins has been a part of the campus leadership program which included spearheading a campus-wide writing initiative to develop a plan to increase student learning, was a part of the new teacher mentorship program, and led campus and district professional development. She also served as the 504 and Testing Coordinator.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
